Rory’s experience across diverse cultural landscapes and business environments enables him to craft strategies that resonate with various markets while remaining aligned with overarching business objectives.

Rory's expertise also extends to the marine sector, particularly through his role as Group HR Director for Caravel Group, the owner of Fleet Management Ltd, one of the world's largest ship management companies. In this capacity, Rory gained invaluable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within the maritime industry, further enhancing his ability to drive HR strategies that deliver tangible results. His recent work has included spearheading growth initiatives such as reviewing organizational structures and establishing talent management frameworks. He also designed and implemented grading structures, competency models, recruitment and onboarding processes, performance management, and reward policies and processes.

He has held HR business partnering roles at prominent multinational companies such as Prudential, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank, and has also worked in reward consulting roles at Aon and Hay Group Korn Ferry. Rory holds a BA (Hons) in Economics with Business Law from Stirling University and an MA in Finance and Investment from Exeter University. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and is accredited in Hogan Psychometric Assessments and Saville Wave & Aptitude Assessments.

In his spare time, Rory enjoys outdoor sports such as kitesurfing, skiing, and snowboarding.
